Four Moves Bayern Can Make In January Tranfer Window

FC Bayern Munich or simply FCB is a German professional football club. It is based in Munich, Bavaria. It competes in the Bundesliga, the top tier of the German football league system. It was founded in 1900 by Franz John. In 1932, Bayern won its first national championship. Under Franz Beckenbauer’s captaincy, this club had its success period in the middle of the 1970s. Bayern won the European Cup three consecutive times. By winning last season’s champions league final, Bayern reached eleven European Cup/UEFA Champions League finals and became the second European club in history to achieve the continental treble twice. It has also won one European Cup Winners’ Cup, one UEFA Cup, one FIFA Club World Cup, two UEFA Super Cups, and two International Cups. It has been the dominant club in German football and won 30 titles.

Bayern had a great previous season with Hansi Flick. Also, in this season, they managed to stay on top of the league table. Bayern may have arguably the best squad in European football. Some new signings can be made in this transfer as some of the players are getting old.

  • Perisic was a very useful player and helped Bayern winning the treble during his loan spell from Inter. He would be a very safe option for Bayern. Perisic managed to score just two goals in 19 games for Inter. Indeed he is missing playing for Bayern.
  • Lewandowski was at his best in the last season and is also in this season. But he is growing old. So, a back-up forward for Lewandowski would be better, and signing Erling Haaland is an excellent option.
  • Thomas Lemar had a torrid time at Atletico Madrid. But, Bayern is still interested in signing him as a back-up for Thomas Muller.
  • Bayern has excellent midfielders. But, Thiago Alcantara left for Liverpool this season. So, Bayern is looking for an option. They can sign West Ham star Tomas Soucek.
